SC GOP: tied in polls, Intrade saying Huckerbee

Filed under: politics — ubikcan @ 1:05 pm

In the SC GOP primary today, McCain has held the lead for weeks. A late surge by Huckerbee has been picked up, but it’s a very close race. Polls are split between the two, while Intrade is currently pegging it as McCain 40% and “Rest of field” [Huckerbee] 53% (as of 1PM EST).

Open Left has a results page with all of today’s votes (including NV).

Update 5pm EST. In NV Romney wins much bigger than expected, McCain fighting for second place with Ron Paul!

Also, Intrade now trending to McCain for SC. This seems to be a must-win for McCain after NV.

Update 6:52 PM EST. Polls close at 7pm in just a few minutes and the final Intrade positions are indicating a McCain victory. We’ll soon see.
