Hillary update

Filed under: politics, Polls — ubikcan @ 12:58 pm

Last time we looked at Hillary in early November on the national scene (as opposed to Iowa in my sidebar polls) she was trading at 46.7%:

What price a President Hillary today?

Well first her chances of overall nomination are still strong but distinctly in decline:

61%, off from her high of 75%. We would expect this as the race progresses as they usually tighten up.

But similarly there’s a distinct decline in her overall likelihood of winning through to the presidency, down about 9 points from 46.7% to 38.1%:

December has not been kind to her. But is there hope on the horizon? Her Iowa chances have actually gone up in the last couple of days among heavier than normal trading volume:

Still only a measly 32% chance of winning, compared to Obama at 47% but perhaps she’s turned the corner.
