Two moments for Clinton

Filed under: politics — ubikcan @ 12:58 pm

The recent turmoil in the press (NewYork Times and Fox) over Clinton’s comments were never about race but about your vision of what’s important: the people’s movement or the person in power being persuaded.

Bill Moyers nails it.

On the other hand, given the chance to repudiate Lieberman, she opted instead for Senate collegiality and declined the opportunity to say Lieberman shouldn’t be campaigning for a Republican. This is a much more minor issue, and presumably is only dependent on the mathematics of the Senate, once a few more Democrats are elected, the need to say this kind of thing will go away. But she should still say it now.
