The exit polls for SC seem to have been born out as McCain holds about a 33-30 lead over Huckerbee.
The polls, released after voting completed at 7pm, showed McCain winning both female and male votes by 33-30 and 31-26 respectively. Current results with 57% reporting show McCain ahead 33-30%, almost a 10,000 vote lead. It’s hard to see that being overcome, so he’s pretty much won although the networks are not calling it just yet.
